WordPress Developer Job Description

Brandography is a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking to add a Wordpress Developer to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

● Write structured, testable code adhering to good coding standards and practices with a focus on performance, security, and user experience.

● Develop, test, and deploy websites using a variety of tool sets for multiple high traffic sites.

● Develop long term strategies and vision to elevate the companies that we work with

● Ability to communicate with the marketing team and project management teams to deliver high quality sites.

● Participate in planning and agile ceremonies within the Growth team and through partnership with the marketing team.

● Build responsive web applications using CSS, HTML, and PHP

● Collaborate with a diverse organization to understand and meet the goals, needs, and priorities of our users.

● Take ownership and responsibility for website performance to ensure a smooth user experience.

● Implement SEO best practices, such as optimizing HTML tags, URL structure, schema, meta descriptions, and ensuring proper indexing and crawling of web pages.

● Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Candidate Qualifications:

● 5+ years’ experience developing fully customized WordPress themes and CMS

● Ability to develop pixel perfect fast websites from PSDs or Figmas

● Strong understanding of PHP/MySQL

● Experience with modern web technologies and techniques such as HTML5,

● CSS3, ECMAScript 2016, CSS preprocessors (SASS, Less, Stylus), JavaScript

Additional Experience (Preferred):

● React, NodeJS, or VueJS

● WebGL and animation via JavaScript and CSS

● Ecommerce

● Experience with scripting languages such as Python
