This a full time, production based pay General labor position. No experience necessary. It requires the unloading and loading of shipping containers by hand with use of a conveyor system at the Port of Charleston Wando at the end of Long Point Rd. in Mt. Pleasant, SC. You must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. You must be able to be on your feet 8 to 10 hrs a day. You must be able to work 5 to 6 days a week. You must be able to get along well with others. We work in a relaxed team environment. Pay is based on completion of a container. Containers once completed, start a $45 and increase depending on piece count. Most containers can be done within 2 to 3 hrs. Regular hours are 6 A.M. to 2:30 P.M, sometimes 4:30 P.M. Schedules do fluctuate due to Port requirements or setbacks. Such as bad weather, shipping delays, etc...You must have reliable transportation, a valid ID, self motivation and a good work ethic.
