Sante is seeking a Project Manager to join our fast-growing company. In this role you will work directly with Engineers, Subcontractors, and Clients to execute commercial and utility scale solar & BESS installations across the USA. The ideal candidates will have an elevated level of pride, integrity, and diligence. The position is part of Sante’s management team and requires accountability for project delivery, costs, team culture performance and corporate safety.
Project Responsibilities
- Act as client project manager liaison throughout assigned projects
- Leading the integration of disciplines (design & engineering, client relations, business development, marketing & communications, project delivery) to enable the effective delivery of our methodology.
- Driving project delivery best practices, coordinate processes and technology to achieve culture of excellence for assigned projects.
- Manage project, program, schedule, and cost including agenda/minutes/lookaheads with weekly issuances.
- Review quantity take-offs for client budgeting and scope documents. Support pre-construction on budgeting for clients.
- Support pre-contract pricing including all necessary quotes to ensure accuracy in bidding and maintaining target GP.
- Generate Requests for Proposal (RFP) review and level as needed.
- Participate in sub-trade bidding.
- Support in contracts and reviewing in detail with Client and Legal team.
- Responsible for final tender summary once project budget is set with management for order processing but staying financially responsible through the whole project.
- Overseeing costings for change orders to ensure project profitability.
- Keeping in touch with clients and team members, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a very clear understanding and review of the progressive design and documents to confirm everything included in the contract documents is included in our budget to the client so there are no misinterpretations.
- Co-chair project meetings both internally and externally.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.
- Manage the design and documentation process throughout.
- Follow up on outstanding items to ensure tasks assigned are completed.
- Research client recommendations and provide results on a timely basis
- Prepare reports, as requested, on the progress of projects (i.e.: status, executive summary, production, open items) and present reports to clients.
- Report problems or findings to immediate supervisor and provide recommendations for solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel will be required to ensure knowledge of the project is acquired and maintained.
- Other requirements as assigned.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks to Assistant PM as assigned to your projects.
- Develop knowledge of internal processes and procedures for tracking and documenting projects.
- Ensure internal project paperwork is accurately prepared (Sante contracts and invoices, etc.).
Business Development Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with consultants and vendors.
- Develop relationships with Sante team members.
Requirements
· 5 + years utility solar and energy project management experience.
· 2+ years of experience in utility electrical construction management, or electrical project management.
· 2+ years of general knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus (Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, etc.).
· Successful experience in bidding contracts, working with RFPs, and precontract pricing
· Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook is required.
· Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, or other related Construction Management software
· Proficiency in Procore required.
· Ability to regularly travel.
Hours of Work
Your ordinary working hours will be Monday to Friday, between the core operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From time to time, you may be required to work reasonable additional hours to meet the requirements of the position.
Compensation
$130K - $160K
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
