      A very chauvinist company with too many old men cashing checks

      Pros

      Competitors seek talent from Fluor because they know how poorly they treat people, so there is life after Fluor. It's easy to shine since they are so behind the times.

      Cons

      A level of undeserved arrogance in so many long time employees who cover each others backs and cash checks with out delivering any value or results. Worst health insurance I've ever seen. Good talent is let go while the buddy system keeps the 30 year employees around even though they can't open a laptop without instructions.

      Pros

      I no longer work there. That is the only Pro I can think of

      Cons

      HR lies to you about the job to get you there (working overseas). While I worked there, we had 3 paycuts and also a cut in bonus's and in our vacation time. Management is clueless, they are a 'good ole boy' network and won't hire educated people, so if you have a college degree you can forget about a promotion. They will "promote" you in name only, and tell you that you have to wait 6 months to qualify for the pay rate increase, and then you find out you might get the increase.

      Pros

      Diverse workforce and many extra opportunities to learn and grow your career and skillset.

      Cons

      Huge amount of layoffs in Houston office due to management not winning any work. Lots of nepotism and promotion of clueless inexperienced people because they are friends with the right group.
