I applied online. I interviewed at American Express in Aug 2025
Interview
Was sent an email that the interview was going to be with a Director, then day of the interview, I was actually meeting with 2 managers. One of the managers couldn't sign on to the virtual meeting so I had to wait 15 mins. The other manager, insisted on waiting for the other manager to login. Then, the manager who was 15 minutes late proceeded to conduct the interview without the camera on and I was just looking at a black box. Call me old school, but taught it was rude and unprofessional. Threw me off for the entire interview and couldn't rather my thoughts clearly.

Question 1
30, 60, 90 day plan. What do you like most about your currently job. Why do you want to work for _ department.
Applied Online, and then got a hirevue, they asked "pitch me an investment idea" and I was kind of thrown off, but answered, Waited about three months and then got a rejection email.
It was a pretty seamless interview experience. First call with recruiter and then two rounds with team members/hiring leader. Heard back about 2 weeks later. I've heard this depends on each team though.
