I have it tomorrow, we will see how it goes. I am expecting a case study and behavioral questions that will be during a 1 hour long interview. I am interviewing for the Atlanta position.
It was a case study interview that tested how good I was at critical thinking and doing mental math. It lasted about an hour and was a really good experience for me.

Question 1
What was one challenge I faced and how did I respond to it.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at CarMax (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2026
Interview
1st round with 30 min behavioral and 30 min case that had the bridge question as the foundation of the case. The case math was mostly focused on probabilities. The R1 interviewer was pretty nice and conversational. Positive experience. Got invited to R2 the same or next day. R2 was 3.5 hours long, 3 cases then a 0.5 hr final behavioral and resume section. The first case started out with some background info on Carmax's loan process and you could ask clarifying questions and the case would be about that. The second case was solving through a math packet and at the end, a panel would ask you questions about your findings and pressure test your business acumen and math and stats sense. Final case was a curveball and was a variation of the secretary/100 paintings question with a heavy focus on probability. Definitely focus on sequential probability and or probability trees as this part messed me up. Recruiter also calls you to let you know if you get rejected which I thought was weird, also I think she faked our phone connection signal going out so she could hang up.
