It was great! I was interviewed by two PA's and they were very knowledgeable, open, and friendly. Definitely bring the good vibes. Would love to have those guys as my coworkers.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Inova (Fairfax, VA) in Dec 2024
Interview
Had a series of sporadic outreach from the recruiter ... I thought I had been ghosted several times ... but eventually had somewhat of a phone screen. The phone screen was extremely informal. Then I had to follow up multiple times to get a response ... ultimately I was asked, the day before the interview, if I could attend an interview in person on the subsequent day. I attended the interview and the person I spoke to was lovely and friendly. My interview was not very formal. I was asked the traditional "tell me about yourself" question and the bulk of everything else was more conversational, than any formal interview questions. The person I was interviewing with was honest about this and said she prefers getting to know people this way. I suspect the interview experience could vary greatly depending on who the hiring manager is (especially given that there are SO many of these "Patient Access Associate" positions with Inova). I did get an offer but then they rescinded it very suddenly. It was extremely unprofessional. I had a very poor experience specifically with the recruiter.
