I was initially contacted by a recruiter at WelbeHealth and invited to interview for a position. The first interview went well, and afterward, the recruiter informed me that the supervisor was interested in moving me forward to a final interview. I was asked to provide my availability, which I promptly did, offering multiple dates and times.
Unfortunately, after providing my availability, I did not receive any confirmation, follow-up, or acknowledgment. Communication stopped entirely, despite being told I would receive a confirmation for the final interview. Two weeks later, I received an automated rejection email stating that I was no longer being considered because the position had been filled. I was never given the opportunity to attend the final interview that I had been told I was moving forward to.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing. The process felt disorganized, with significant gaps in communication and follow-through. Based on my experience, there appears to be a lack of coordination within the recruiting process. Candidates invest time and effort preparing and making themselves available, and it is reasonable to expect timely and professional communication in return.
My experience with recruiters, including Adrian and Randee, involved inconsistent follow-up and lack of closure until the automated rejection was sent. Overall, the process felt inefficient and discouraging, and I hope improvements are made to ensure better communication and respect for candidates’ time.
