Great culture and people to work with

Lots of driving and lack of schedule

Great company culture, great coworkers. Love working on products that make a true difference in people's lives. Pay is reasonable, but the pay is offset by the flexible work culture and great products.

Health insurance is a dumpster fire. The company is self insured and the claims are managed by a subsidiary of United Healthcare called UMR. Claims are denied for reasons like the TIN is not provided when the invoice lists the TIN and you provided the TIN in the submission. On top of that, you can't talk to UMR directly, you have to use another company called Quantum Health who appear to have no idea how UMR works. Claims can take months to settle. If you are single with no health issues, I highly recommend BSC. If you have a family or expect to use your health insurance think twice. Claims that were processed seamlessly by UnitedHealthCare at my previous job are now regularly rejected and take weeks of work. Same provide, same invoice, just UMR instead of UHC direct.
