Pros

- Can work whenever you want, as much as you want - Pay *has potential* to be good ($25-$65 per hour) - Can do work related to your field (with degree), or more generalized work (without degree) - Interview process is literally just taking a test - Good if looking for extra income or part-time work - Doing good work results in more projects sent your way - 100% Work from home (or somewhere with wifi)

Cons

- Almost no human interaction at all - No benefits of any sort (no healthcare, dental, etc...) - No matter how many hours you put in, you are always self-employed - Availability of work fluctuates - Work in your specific field may not always be available - Can be difficult to make it a full time job - They can drop you without warning or notice - No possibility of career growth as far as I can tell - Some projects require you to work 8+ hours in a day, others only 30 minutes. The act of checking how long a project will take means it might no longer be available to you if you wait too long.

Pros

Ability to work remote on your own schedule, whenever you want. If you don't cheat and pay attention, most of the work is relatively straightforward. The pay is decent in most cases and if you are able to get qualified for more complex projects you can make quite a bit more.

Cons

Some projects have excellent directives and rules while others are vague and difficult to understand. Communication with supervisors is lacking for the most part. Rates per project sometimes make no sense. You can do a very simple "easy" project and make more money than you would on a very complex project that takes much longer to complete. A lot of projects are 'first come first serve', so you may find that most of the projects you are qualified to work on are gone by morning because they were completed overnight or in the very early hours of the morning. No job security, they will stop giving you projects with no explanations or reasoning. I was a 'valued' member of the DA team until I woke up one day and realized I was let go for no reason whatsoever.
