Pros
* Great pay when you first start
* Excellent Christmas Vacation
* 9-80 Schedule every other Friday off
* Almost impossible to get fired once hired
Cons
* Management THICK, expect to have a functional manager, assignment manager, senior manager trying to all tell you what to do at the SAME time.
* Micromanagement on an extreme level to justify the existence of 4-5 layers of management. So as an engineer you are allowed ZERO creativity instead you live like a drone executing working that often times is tasked to management but you will let them take the credit right?
*RUN AWAY from Sentinel!! This program has such an extreme turn over no one usual stays past three years. This leaves management constantly scrapping and doing over past work leaving gaps in the process.
* You are only a number, excessive hiring as management expects people to leave. If you stay you will be taken be taken advantage of, raises are marginal and promotions pretty much don't exist you have to leave the program and reapply to move up.
* PTO growth is LAME you make very little PTO considering hours worked expect 3.5 hrs maybe for every two weeks worked if that.
* NO PARKING they hired soo many people there is no place left to park if you get in past 8:30 AM.
* Incompetence runs DEEP , if you are competent you will be run off by management that doesn't want to be exposed all these years milking the program.
