Pros
SSM Health is an exceptional place to work. In just over two years, I’ve had meaningful opportunities to lead my team in ways that support their growth and long‑term success. I was able to share my vision openly, and my leaders consistently removed barriers rather than creating them - which made a real difference.
I’ve earned the respect of my peers, and while there has naturally been some friction along the way, it has led to stronger relationships and a shared understanding of how we can work better together. The culture is genuinely kind and mission‑driven, with a constant emphasis on ensuring that everything we do ultimately benefits the patient.
Cons
The Mission fosters a culture of genuine kindness, which is one of the organization’s greatest strengths. At the same time, it highlights the importance of being intentional in our communication so expectations remain clear.
