Pros

I have found employees throughout the organization to be dedicated professionals who genuinely care about each other. My work at SSM Health is interesting, can be challenging and there is always more to learn. Great benefits include many professional development opportunities (furthering your education, gaining certifications, etc.), available to all employees. SSM Health also cares very deeply for the communities they serve, and employees can find numerous ways to give back to our communities through activities sponsored by SSM Health.

Cons

Like many other organizations, you may come into your workplace thinking you are going to complete certain things on a given day but depending on immediate needs of the day your priorities have to quickly change. Being flexible and able to pivot quickly are keys to success here.

Pros

SSM Health is truly mission-driven, and you feel that purpose in our day-to-day work. The culture honestly feels like family - people are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely care about each other. Leadership encourages us to share our story, and there's a real excitement in doing that because our Mission is something we all believe in.

Cons

The pace can be fast and ever-changing, but the strong sense of community and purpose makes the work incredibly rewarding.
