Pros

Overall it's a great place to work. People get the opportunity to have an impact, in a variety of different roles. There's plenty of opportunities to explore projects and priorities you have a passion for, outside of your BAU. Colleagues are often very thoughtful and considerate, making it a positive work environment where you can be yourself. This is combined with people also being ambitious and consistently trying to improve performance, processes, and output. There are regular innovative products being created that impact the travel market in a meaningful way, and often many teams get to be involved in these exciting opportunities to make travel a better experience for customers. The leadership are passionate about travel, and about their employees, with many opportunities to meet them, and share feedback. In addition, there are many events and social opportunities to get to know colleagues outside of your immediate team, which is exciting, as you can meet new people very regularly.

Cons

It's a company where change is constant. That can be tricky for people, but it's also the nature of working in a tech-focused company, with all the changes that come with innovation. With this change, can come opportunity and new challenges. So it does mean you have to adapt and reprioritise your work on occasion. Although there are opportunities for learning and development outside of your role, you have to seize these yourself, rather than opportunities presenting themselves to you, so it does require proactivity.

Pros

Old port office was nice

Cons

This senior director stayed for years years without being caught he abused his employees for decades until he was let go. Name calling, yelling and degrading was his everyday. He would change seating arrangement on the floor every few months. He divided the team into two tiers, the first were close to him and not doing much work instead they were giving “feedback” on their members or simply put sabotaging. The second tier had to work hard and be ripped off of their humanity. He himself was mostly watching soccer on his computer. He lead multi item trip or packages
