Manager was so unprofessional screaming in meetings not a leader at all

middle and upper management are not on the same page. There were some awesome managers while there but there were more managers that dont take into account metrics or tenure when dealing with agents.

Impossible sales metrics and micromanaging, unrealistic expectations from managers, constant evaluation , being watched all the time

I’ve been with the company for 10years now, started seeing comany going downhill for last few years. We are loosing the culture that USAA was proud of. Getting managers who has no idea how to manage a team or people but somehow got promoted to manager & working under them is a nightmare! We need to manage ourselves, work extra long hours & still get the blames if something isn’t right that’s not in our hand! Since last summer releasing code is a pain, you need 3 separate person for 1 release, so long nights 1 to 2 days a week for engineers or DPOs

Managers are terrible and micro manage. The pay is kinda low compared to other insurance companies.

Executive leadership is lost. Good ole boy network. Anywhere else your title is a product manager, but that comes at a higher salary range so they don’t mirror other companies.
