Pros

Well managed. Debt free. Wildly profitable. They promote from within and really walk the walk when it comes to their company motto. Very lucky to work here.

Cons

Salary will always be a gripe, but I’d rather have a conservative pay and job security vs my employer paying me beyond their means and routinely doing layoffs (which is what most tech companies have been doing since 2024).

Stability

Pros

Yardi is working on updating their culture. Your coworkers are typically really helpful and great to work with. Everybody has to live somewhere and a lot of people rent in the residential or commercial space. The company is privately ran and really strives to have the best of everything for their clients. A high deductible health savings type of plan was added to the benefits this past year.

Cons

Typical corporate "You did great, but obviously we can't give you the top score because no one is perfect." On average annual raises feel sub par and do not meet the level of effort required to receive anything substantial. It feels like there is a push to eventually get back to the office while it's already been proven productivity hasn't decreased but actually improved.

Unsupportive environment

Pros

Benefits, Hybrid work, Exposure to many products and industry segments

Cons

• Inconsistent and unsupportive management • Limited responsiveness from management when asking questions (always busy) • Heavy reliance on self-paced video training instead of structured product sessions or coaching • Very high expectations for independence early in the role despite a large and complex product suite • No recognition for progress or work well done • Concerns raised with HR did not result in meaningful support, rather in retaliation • Customer issues appeared deprioritized despite long wait times (aka they were waiting long, they can wait longer among management lines)
