The overall interview process was very smooth and well-organized, thanks to the Talent Acquisition team, they were fast to respond and very pleasant to communicate with.
The process consisted of several stages:
1. An initial screening call
2. A technical interview with a relatively simple LeetCode-style problem
3. A final round including two technical interviews and two behavioral interviews with the Engineering Manager and Project Manager
Everything went well overall. The interviewers were professional and the structure was clear. However, I did face some difficulty during the second technical interview of the final round, it was hard to understand the interviewer’s English, and we ended up spending about 30 minutes debating a semantic aspect of my code, which felt a bit unproductive.
That said, the rest of the experience was positive and respectful, and I appreciated the opportunity to go through their process.

Question 1
In the first technical round, I was asked a LeetCode-style problem:
“Given an array representing stock prices on each day, find the best time to buy and sell to maximize profit.”
I applied online. I interviewed at Toast Inc (Boston, MA) in Dec 2025
Interview
OA -> recruiter screen -> final (behavioral/technical). the OA was a Leetcode/Hackerrank question. recruiter screen briefly went over resume. behavioral talked about past experience. 30 minute break between the behavioral and tech

Received a response from the recruiter saying i was a great candidate for an SE position, and that they would reach out soon for a technical interview.
Never heard back after. Disrespectful hiring process.
