Pros

Get to see cool animals everyday

Cons

Even for hands on tech roles it's still very corporate. Performance reviews, goal setting, productivity tracking on work orders etc... You will hear about it if you are two minutes late. There is no on-boarding or training plan and procedure documents are outdated and suggested not to be reviewed. They will put you on shift by yourself or with another new hire asap because of 3rd shift constantly needing covered. They love to tell you about their awesome PTO but you only get it awarded every 3 months to discourage you from using it. If you start just after the beginning of the quarter you could be waiting months before you get any PTO and borrowing PTO is "highly discouraged."
