Pros

Staff are great, bonus scheme is good if you can deliver service and follow grading procedure! Social events are great when they happen!

Cons

Long hours by yourself, and if you’re struggling to meet targets you see that in both pay and reviews. Can only progress in training if you’re central to Doncaster etc.

Pros

Great management team, couldnt ask for a better regional manager or management team. They are always available, supportive and passionate. The bonus is also good and, depending on where your based, can be quite easy to earn. Sometimes i have earnt over £1000 in bonus for the month! You do work on your own most of the time which i dont mind but can be a dealbreaker for some people. You get to meet lots of different people and see a vast variety of cars from day to day

Cons

Bonus is very location dependant. You are told that if you use the right techniques and say the right things then you can buy anywhere. Which is partially true. Sure if you have a better sales pitch and negotiating skills, you will buy more cars. However, if you are in the worst branches then you likely wont earn any bonus. You also judged on people who dont come to see you, like cancelled appointments or no shows. So essentially penalised for something you cannot change. Another big thing for me is key swaps. You essentially do an extra 2 hours a week of unpaid work, which on top of the long working hours means you end up getting home past 8 sometimes.
